I believe young people deserve to be uniquely themselves.
And I believe the adults in their lives—parents, teachers, counselors, coaches—have more power to support that than they often realize. They just need the right tools. That’s the gap I’ve spent 15+ years trying to close.
Kaleigh Cornelison
LMSW, LCSW
Hi! I’m Kaleigh, licensed social worker, trainer, and facilitator. I’ve worked with teens aged 14-24 on relationships, identity, sexual health, social media, life transitions, and more. I’ve also trained thousands of parents and youth-serving professionals to do the same.
I work with schools, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and families across the country. My training style is highly interactive, because I feel people learn more when they’re actually engaging, not just listening.
I specialize in the topics that come up most during adolescence: identity formation, relationships, sexual health, and social media. And I bring a youth-centered approach that helps the adults I work with understand young people, and their own role in teens’ lives.

Credentials
I am a white, queer, cisgender, able-bodied woman with a passion for working with adolescents and public speaking (I’m a theater kid at heart). I’m passionately LGBTQ+ affirming, and I believe the conversations that feel the hardest to start, around identity, relationships, sexuality, are exactly the ones that matter most.
When I’m not working with parents or professionals, you can usually find me on a tennis court or hiking around Southeast Michigan. I really value the outdoors, so I spend as much time in nature as possible, even if it’s just hanging out in the backyard with my wife, daughter, and our rescue dog, Lou. My family loves to travel, and one day I hope to visit every National Park in the U.S.
