About Me

Why I Do What I Do

Kaleigh Cornelison, MSW

I've been an extrovert my whole life, but I truly began channeling my gift for speaking in front of a crowd as a Peer Educator for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center at the University of Michigan. It was during that time talking to Freshman orientation groups, Greek Life and Women's Studies 101 classes that I realized the power of a facilitated training to impact people's outlooks, spark change and ultimately create a better community.

That experience led me to obtain my Master's Degree is Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis with a specialization in Nonprofit Management. While many of my Social Work colleagues gravitated towards practicing individual therapy, I have always found my greatest joy from facilitating learning opportunities for youth and adults that provide them with the skills and abilities to be successful in work and life.

I've had the privilege throughout my career to work in education, social work, non-profit management and healthcare. In each of my roles I've sought out opportunities to facilitate learning experiences for my colleagues. It is my personal mission to make these types of professional development experiences engaging, creative and practical for all types of learners.

Kaleigh is one of the strongest facilitators that I have had the pleasure of working with! She is effective in facilitating with teens as well as adults. In both spaces, she is incredibly engaging, creative and is a natural at managing group dynamics in a way that maximizes the transfer of learning. Kaleigh’s workshops have consistently been evaluated and praised as the best that participants have attended!
